On November the 14th, all analogue TV broadcasts in Whitehaven will cease. They are the first people in the UK to make the Digital Switchover. From then onwards until 2012 different areas of the UK will lose their analogue TV reception at different times. To continue to receive a TV signal after your region switches, you will need a digital TV or a digital set top box to connect to your existing TV.
