Microsoft have confirmed the Xbox 360 Elite will released in North America on the 29th of April at a cost of $479.99.
 This Xbox 360 package will contain a black Xbox, black wireless controller, a black Xbox Live headset, HDMI lead, composite lead, a months subscription to Xbox Live gold and the main difference between this and the Xbox 360 you already own is the 120GB detachable hard drive and HDMI connector.
Unlike the Sony PS3 this unit does not include the built in Wi-Fi and Microsoft have not included a HD DVD to compete against blueray.
Peter Moore, corporate vice president for the Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft states "Xbox 360 Elite's larger hard drive and premium accessories will allow our community to enjoy all that the next generation of entertainment has to offer."
Microsoft say the Xbox 360 Elite is all about the storage which means, if you use
Xbox Live Market place to download Arcade games, TV shows and Movies
you should think about an upgrade when it reaches the UK.
