One of the great features of the Nintendo Wii is the ability to use the remote control (Wiimote) physically in the sports games. Serve with it as a racket in tennis, swing it as a golf club or bowl it as a ball in bowling.
Now simulating these moves is all very well and we applaud Nintendo for trying something new but we all knew it was just a matter of time before someone actually launched their Wiimote at the TV. Even Nintendo knew it would happen and equipped the Wiimote with rubber grips and a wrist strap to prevent accidents. Unfortunately for Tuxedo Jack all these safety precautions were not enough...
An extensive gaming session was brought to a dramatic end when his friends wrist strap snapped at the critical moment, shooting the Wiimote into his 60" rear projection TV.
Obliviously he is not impressed and plans to contact Nintendo. We will be interested to see their reply. |
