It's been rumoured for some time now, but yesterday it was officially confirmed by Sony. September will see a new slimmer and lighter PSP. 19% slimmer and 33% lighter to be exact.
The new enhanced design is more streamlined, and will also include a video-out port. This will enable PSP users to experience movies, pictures, and game titles on their TV.
Other features include the ability to cache game data from the UMD to reduce loading times, and the new PSP will also be able to charge itself from your PS3 or PC via the USB cable.
It will be available in September, should be around the same price as the current model, and be in three colours, Piano Black, Ceramic White, and Ice Silver.
