As a precautionary measure PC World as asking owners to stop using, switch off the mains socket and unplug any Maxfield "Max-DECT Phone For Skype" which where purchased from them between December 2006 and September 2007.
PC World will provide a full refund for the phone and ask that customers return all the components/accessories especially the 2-3pin adapter. They also ask where possible to take your receipt or other proof of purchase.
