The fight is on between HD DVD and Blue-ray to become the best DVD format of the future. In the HD DVD corner there is Microsoft and Intel and in the Blue-ray corner there is Sony who use Blue-ray in the new Playstation 3.
 Now with LG Electronics showcasing a Hybrid HD DVD/Blu-ray DVD player and Time Warner Studios announcing they plan to offer their films in both formats it may become a tie.
They have yet to give details on the pricing but it should be an interesting fight
