This year don't be surprised if instead of playing Monopoly or Charades after your Christmas Dinner, you are playing one of the new interactive DVD games.
Many big films and TV shows have now made the transition to this new format, including Deal or No Deal, Noddy, Pirates of the Caribbean, Coronation Street, Beat the Intro
 and 24.
Coronation Street has questions using clips, photos and story lines from the street, whereas 24 contains a game board, cards and tokens like a regular board game, with the added benefit of on screen challenges and a virtual CTU office. Your mission is to solve the latest terrorist plot.
If you have not tried these before they can be great fun, and you really get the feeling Noel is asking you.. Deal or No Deal !
