Google's mission is "to organize the world's
information and make it universally accessible and useful" and they do
this in many ways.
The newest way was announced today by google as they have launched a new Beta customised search engine.
Google's vice president of search products and user experience, Marissa
Mayer said "We
want to make it easy for anyone to create a search
engine about all their favourite topics, without needing a PhD."
To use the new feature you must have a google account.
It allows you to select keywords for your search engine and list a number of websites to either emphasise on with still checking the full web or limit the search to these pages. |
