This year the Golden Joystick Awards are to take place at the Park Lane Hilton in London today the 27th of October with TV presenter Justin Lee Collins as the award host.
 
Some of the 17 categories are…

• Ultimate Game of The Year (released between the 1st August 2005 and the 31st July 2006.)
• Game of the Year for Online, PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and Handheld.
• The One to Watch For 2007
• Innovation Award
• Girls Choice Award

Last years winners included World of Warcraft, Half-Life 2 and Halo 2
