OCZ and ATI have worked together to test the OCZ2A8002GK dual channel memory to ensure its compatibility and quality when used with an ATI CrossFire platform. Due to this it has been ATI CrossFire Certified which is ATIs renowned certification program.
The OCZ2A8002GK is a DDR2, 2GB with timings of 4-4-4-12 (CAS, TRCD, TRP, TRAS) and as it is a dual channel kit this means it has 2 sticks of 1GB memory. The timing of memory is something we should all look at when buying a stick of memory as well as the size, but don't worry to much about the meanings of CAS etc, just remember the lower the better.  You can not miss this memory with its bright red ATI logo heatspreader, which helps keep the memory cool. OCZ say all of this memory is 100% hand tested, but should you incur any problems they also offer a lifetime warranty.
